These flags were made with curiosity when we were trying out our new Cricut machine…(much fun to be had) Aaron created a cut out on on the Cricut, to be used as a silk screen stencil and then Sandy then went to town. We printed it onto orange cotton fabric in recognition of
the colour chosen for reconciliation day.
Buffalo medicine is strong medicine. It comes from the plains of Turtle Island, where they lived in abundance. Imagine a sea of moving buffalo across the plains… Many of the buffalo are gone but their medicine is in the land where their feet beat the earth with the thundering hooves and those that lived with them respected them for all they offered.
