Art is where it all begins on the art farm: art + nature = change.  Why? Because art is about transforming the creative impulse into physical form and the seed for change is a creative impulse. Artists aren’t scared of change, they embrace it; they’ve spent their creative lives learning how to take an impulse and run with it. They're an indispensable resource for a healthy society: they help us shape our stories, our heritage, and our ideas and they inspire change in our lives and communities. Who better, we say, to lead the charge when it comes to creating postive change for the future?

On any given project, artists bring a set of skills, ideas and passion to the table that no one else can.  Projects include arts-based festivals, productions and gallery shows where the their work leads the way.  But they also include nature-based workshops, for example, or change-driven community events. The art farm is interested in bringing people together from across conventional divides.  In other words, we want artists to play a role in our nature-based workshops and change-driven community events.  And we want nature-based innovators and people who are devoted to change to play a role in our festivals, productions and gallery shows.

But it’s not just about art farm projects.
